y family has been washing windows in the Seattle area since 1962. My father, Howard Larson, was a window washer for 15 years. He began teaching me the business when I was twelve years old. My first jobs were helping him wash Safeway store windows after school. My father gave me partial ownership of the business when I was eighteen. After taking a sabbatical to attend college at the University of Washington, I became a union window cleaner and learned hi-rises. I returned to the family business after ten years of sub-contract window cleaning. My father has since retired, but I continue the family tradition of quality window cleaning as A Better Clean.
